Son of renowned Stunt Choreographer, Veeru Devgan, and mother Veena, our Aries hero, Ajay Devgan, is one of the best action Heroes. Born on the 2nd of April in Delhi, the Mithibhai graduate got into Bollywood with a magnificent response for his debut film Phool Aur Kaante by Kuku Kohli. By 1998 he was the leading actor and starred in movies like Pyaar To Hona Hi Tha and Zakhm that not only won him win awards but even critically appreciation.
1999 was the year of critical and commercial success, not forgetting his marriage with his long-time girlfriend, Kajol. Devgan's performance was notably recognized in movies like Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Company, The Legend of Bhagat Singh. This serious actor totally changed his image in the minds of the masses with his scintillating performance as the romantic hubby in Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam and the rib tickling comedy Golmaal.
His latest Halla Bol was not a box-office success, but it definitely won him appreciation from critics. Followed a string of flops but his directorial debut, U, Me Aur Hum, in which he starred opposite his wife Kajol performed well at the box office and received positive reports, approving his work as a debuting director. As an actor, Ajay never confined himself to be a stereotype and was always prepared to take up any and every challenge!
